RXQ is pleased to participate in our 2nd Annual Manufacturing Day with local school districts in Southeastern Ohio!
Manufacturing Day, held annually on the first Friday in October, was created to “show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging thousands of companies and educational institutions around the nation to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders” (Creators Wanted).
This year’s event, held virtually, was put together by Project RISE, Athens County Economic Development Council, Workforce Development Board Area 14, and Tri-County Career Center. RXQ is proud to partner with these local organizations to make our community stronger. The virtual event features videos submitted by numerous manufacturing companies in the region. During previous events, students would be introduced to manufacturing jobs and careers by touring facilities and hearing from manufacturing professionals.

RXQ Human Resources Director, Jeff Frymier, on the virtual event this year, “We are excited to partner with our local schools to promote Manufacturing Day 2020. While we wish we could talk with students in person, we are pleased to be able share our story virtually. A strong manufacturing base is the lifeblood of any community and we are excited to be a part of a growing manufacturing resurgence in Athens County.”
RXQ would like to thank all of the organizations that worked together to make Manufacturing Day 2020 a success! We hope this event was informative and enjoyable for all participants! #MFG2020
